Alhaja Aminat Babalola Balogun, Islamic soulful singer popularly known as Omotayebi, is set for a two-in-one celebration.
The two-in-one celebration is an elaborate album launch and award presentation to her supporters. The event is scheduled to hold on Sunday 9 August at the Anchor Events Centre, Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos.
“I am putting together the two-in-one celebration as a thanksgiving and appreciation to almighty God and my fans, who have stood by me for years.
There so many established artistes in the industry for so many years but God personally brought me out and uplifted me,” she said.
According to Omatayebi, the event will be an entire Islamic programme with her colleagues and friends in attendance. “This is to appreciate God and I am planning to bring in one of the celebrated Islamic clerics to lecture us on the essence of appreciating God,” she added.

She said the new work to be marketed by Okiki Music Production, will no doubt touch many lives and inspire people as well as educates listeners of the appropriate returns if one conducts oneself well. The album also contains soul-lifting tracks that would restore to hope to those facing various challenges.
“It is an album that speaks for itself in terms of quality lyrics and outstanding production,” she said.
